This nocturnal stroll is a part of the Outdoor Adventure Center’s “more ways to get outside” series, an initiative aimed at encouraging more outdoor leisure, particularly in the heart of the city . The bat hike is scheduled to take place from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22.
Make sure you grab your spot by registering in advance, the deadline for registration ends on Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 11 p.m. This activity has no cost, but a Recreation Passport is required for entry into Maybury State Park. The hike is most suitable for individuals aged eight and up, so it can be a wonderful adventurous evening for families.
Maybury State Park is a slice of natural paradise, boasting almost 1,000 acres of gentle rolling terrain, blooming wildflowers, open meadows, mature forests, and a host of wildlife, promising a genuinely immersive discover-nature experience.
