Novi, Michigan is getting a brand new thrift store that’s sure to become a cherished spot for bargain hunters and community supporters alike! The Salvation Army has set the grand opening for their latest venture at 43600 Grand River, and it is all happening on February 7-8. Once home to a cosmetology school, this location has undergone a *remarkable transformation* into a thrift store that offers treasures waiting to be discovered. With the community’s needs in mind, this new space aims to attract not just local shoppers but also those looking for a good deal on quality merchandise.
As you wander through the aisles, you’ll find dozens of racks filled with clothing options for everyone. Don’t miss out on the section dedicated to home goods, where you can browse through a variety of items, including dishes, kitchen appliances, and elegant vases. It doesn’t stop there! At one end of the store, you will see an impressive display of living room furniture sets, while at the other end, a stunning wall showcases handbags and accessories.
Employees have been hard at work setting up merchandise since early January, ensuring everything is perfect for the grand opening. Excitingly, the store is still looking to fill positions, with an estimated 12 to 15 employees needed, both full-time and part-time, to help serve the customers once the doors swing open.
This Novi store will be a milestone as it becomes the 30th Salvation Army Thrift Store in southeast Michigan and the fourth boutique store in the region. Boutique stores like this one focus on offering *high-quality name-brand merchandise* in smaller sizes, providing shoppers with competitive pricing that can make anyone smile when they check out!
To keep shoppers excited, the store plans to rotate its inventory on a quick merchandise rotation schedule after the first 30 days. With a daily requirement of pushing out 900 pieces of clothing every Monday through Friday, it’s likely you’ll find new goodies on every visit.
