Hey folks, we have some important traffic news for you for this Friday morning. There’s a bit of a hiccup at Interstate 96 in Oakland County. The road is closed due to some downed power lines lying on the freeway.
All the eastbound lanes on I-96 are sealed off near Milford Road. If that’s not all, all of the westbound lanes on I-96 are also unavailable right after Wixom Road.
Unfortunately, we’re not sure when the road will be clear for vehicles again. We will keep you posted as we find out more.

Onto some other local happenings; Medical supplies are being requested by OCHN, several traffic modifications will be implemented on the I-96 in Oakland next week, and an International Gem & Jewelry show in Novi is scheduled to take place on 10th August 2024. Moving on, Detroit Zoo recently celebrated the birth of a baby gorilla, and tours of Michigan Central Station have been extended due to overwhelming popularity. In unfortunate news, a man from Metro Detroit is facing charges after reportedly stealing equipment from a Home Depot store.
