They found four Chinese women who did not speak English, revealing a horrific reality: these individuals were reportedly made to work every single day from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. offering massages primarily to male clients. They had no access to transportation, medical care, or even the ability to connect with their families or friends, and incredibly, they either received very little pay or none at all for their efforts.

As a part of the investigation, police executed searches of Wan’s home in Livonia and her various businesses. What they found was startling: several firearms and approximately $140,000 in cash were seized. This discovery raises questions about the scale and implications of her operations.

This situation has sparked a collaborative investigation involving several agencies: the Farmington Hills Police Department, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, and the Westland Police Department.
