Hairloss Worry Solved in Novi With Stunning Solutions

In Novi, a specially designed “hair system” is being used to transform the lives of those coping with hair loss. Our attention was caught by a 19-year-old college student who journeyed all the way from Kalamazoo to try out this life-changing invention.

An interesting data from research hinted that by 2022, the global market for hair wigs and extensions stood at a whopping $7.7 billion and was expected to soar to $15.7 billion. Even closer to home, the U.S. hair replacement market hovers around $1.5 billion.

The young man, who opted to remain anonymous, was eager to explore this unique solution for his hair loss. The aim was not just to conceal his genetic hair loss but also to regain his lost self-esteem. The cost to restore his hair and confidence was $600, a price he was more than happy to pay.

This breakthrough has caught the attention of the wider community as we commemorate National Hair Loss Awareness Month this August. But it’s not just about creating awareness, it’s about letting people know that there are a range of options available.

The dynamic duo behind this fantastic innovation are hair replacement experts Rebekah Lakies and Sara Micallef who founded the Project Hair Company. They passionately pointed out that hair loss can be triggered by several factors such as cancer, alopecia, thyroid or hormonal issues, or genetic issues.

The personalized hair systems they create include full bonding, perimeter bonding, clip-on “toppers,” toupee-like “systems,” and strand-by-strand extensions

The sizeable chunk of women clients opts for “toppers”, which are cleverly designed to conceal thinning or hair loss at the hairline. These come in at a cost around $1,000.

Most of their clients, some as young as 16-years-old or even from places as far as Chicago and Ohio, come to them after every option they have tried has failed to bring results.

Every client gets a prototype hair unit that is designed to match their hair color, length, and texture to give a natural look. Once installed, these hairpieces can last between a few months and up to a year, depending on the type installed.

The work these ladies are doing is nothing short of incredible. It’s doing more than just helping people to look good, it restores their confidence and means they can continue to live their lives with a smile on their face.
