He started working at the City Mission as a supervisor at the men’s desk shortly after completing the program. His deep-seated desire to help others led him to eventually become a case manager in 2024, where he now oversees a caseload of 30 to 50 individuals in the same New Life Program that saved his life.

He dedicates his days to meeting with 14 to 20 clients, offering support and guidance tailored to their individual needs. Franklin doesn’t stop there. His commitment extends to encouraging clients to enter detox programs and stay longer to gain essential life skills and receive much-needed support.
