Last June, defendant Susan Lorincz shot through her front door fatally striking 35-year-old Ajike “AJ” Owens, who had been knocking on Lorincz’s door amid an ongoing dispute over children playing near her apartment. Lorincz, who had pled not guilty to the charge of manslaughter with a firearm, now faces up to 30 years in prison.
