Timeless Hope Gala

Mark your calendars for the Timeless Hope Gala on September 26, hosted at the beautiful Shenandoah Country Club in West Bloomfield. From 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., this fantastic gala aims to raise funds for United Community Family Services – Chaldean American Ladies of Charity. You’ll also witness the presentation of the 2024 Timeless Giving Award to the remarkable Dr. Tiffany Zair-Yalda. On September 28, it’s time to clear out those old bikes! Free Bikes 4 Kidz is collecting used bikes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 25 Meijer Stores across metro Detroit. Once collected, these bikes will be restored with the help of volunteers and donated to underprivileged children before the holidays. Hometown Hustle 5K

The Hometown Hustle 5K and one-mile color fun run is also on September 28, starting at 8 a.m. at the Chief Financial Credit Union headquarters in downtown Rochester. Registration is just $30 for adults and $20 for kids, so get ready to run for a good cause!

Walk to Defeat ALS

Make a strong stand against ALS on September 28 at the 2024 Walk to Defeat ALS at the Detroit Zoo. Registration kicks off at 7:30 a.m. and the walk starts at 9:30 a.m. This important event advocates for individuals living with ALS and raises funds for research and support services.

CelyFit Charity Zumbathon

Get your groove on at the CelyFit Charity Zumbathon on September 29 from 10:30 a.m. to noon, located at CelyFit in West Bloomfield. For only $10, you can enjoy a fun-filled morning of Zumba, and all proceeds go to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Exercise has never felt so good!

Support for Foster Children

Through September 30, local residents can contribute to a great cause by donating new underwear, socks, diapers, and pajamas for kids in the foster care system.
