In a shocking series of events, a 29-year-old man from Detroit has been sentenced to prison for his involvement in stealing nearly 50 firearms from a gun store in Dearborn Heights. Deon Bell will face a hefty sentence of 7.5 years in prison for orchestrating the burglary, and that punishment will be followed by an additional 8.5 years for a separate armed robbery of a T-Mobile store. The announcement made by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Michigan has sent ripples throughout the community.

During the initial burglary, Bell didn’t go it alone. He recruited three male accomplices, which shockingly included a minor. They managed to steal 22 guns during this robbery, leaving behind a chaotic scene after crashing a stolen vehicle right in front of the store. But that wasn’t the end of it. The very next night, Bell returned with two other youths and upped the ante, stealing 25 more firearms and crashing yet another stolen car into the store! Just when things couldn’t get worse, he led police on a high-speed chase after this second heist, adding to the already dangerous situation.

What’s more, after the robbery, he attempted to unload the stolen goods at another store in Hamtramck.
