The restaurant spans a cozy 3,000 square feet, designed by the talented folks at Bowers + Associates based in Ann Arbor. They’ve crafted a welcoming space that manages to be chic yet comfortable, seating up to 36 guests in the main dining area. If you’re looking for a more intimate setting, the lower level accommodates an additional 30 patrons, plus there are up to 30 private seats available for special occasions. The head chef at Bell Bistro is none other than Gabriel Botezan, a Le Cordon Bleu-certified chef who has made quite a name for himself in the metro Detroit dining scene. His experience shines through in every dish. Botezan also contributes his culinary magic at Adelina in downtown Detroit, where he collaborates closely with chef Marco Dalla Fontana. And here’s a fun fact: his wife, Gabriela Botezan, is the pastry chef at Adelina and will be creating delightful desserts for Bell Bistro! You’ll definitely want to leave room for their Papanași, Parliament Walnut Cake, Olive Oil Cake Bar, and luscious Raspberry Chocolate Tart.
