South Lyon Pumpkinfest

Kicking things off, the South Lyon Pumpkinfest will take place in downtown South Lyon on September 28th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and September 29th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Expect a full day of games, entertainment, and delicious food vendors! Annual Scarecrow Festival

Just down the road in Oxford, the Annual Scarecrow Festival invites everyone to join in on September 29th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. With a 5K walk/run, a magic show, and fun children’s activities, there’s something for everyone. Plus, local businesses will be giving out treats, making downtown Oxford the place to be!

Farmington Hills Annual Hay Day

On October 1st, bring the family to the Farmington Hills Annual Hay Day from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Heritage Park. There will be exciting family activities, trails to explore, and a fun inflatable obstacle course. Not to mention, the Farmington Hills Fire Department will host marshmallow drops, ensuring plenty of giggles and excitement!

Skeletons Are Alive Outdoor Public Art Display

From October 1st to 31st, downtown Northville will be transformed with the whimsical Skeletons Are Alive outdoor public art display. The launch bash on October 4th features live music, food trucks, and plenty of family-friendly fun. Don’t forget to snap some selfies with the skeletons and share them online!

Detroit Zoo Fall Fest

The Detroit Zoo is getting in the spirit with its Fall Fest activities! Starting on October 4th, adults can enjoy Spooky Spirits with drinks from 6-10 p.m. and the illuminated Jack O’ Lantern Journey on October 5th and 6th. There is also Zoo Boo on select weekends where families can dress up and enjoy a not-so-scary zoo experience!

Halloween Stroll at Canterbury Village

From October 4th to 27th, the Halloween Stroll awaits at Canterbury Village. The event features immersive displays and whimsical characters that will capture the imagination of both young and old. It’s a chance to step into a magical world filled with excitement and fall festivities.

Upcoming Highlights

The following weekends offer more thrill, with the Woodward Scream Cruise and Hauntiac Car Show on October 5th, and the If Stones Could Talk living history cemetery tour on the same day. The Bowers School Farm Fall Festival will bring pumpkin picking and wagon rides on October 5th and 6th, ensuring that your family gets a taste of the countryside.
